Loctite Film Contest

Loctite would like you to create a video for their new Loctite 60 sec. Universal Glue, the first all-purpose glue that can fix mid-sized objects in just 60 seconds. To let our target audience discover that they can repair a broken object in such a short amount of time, we want to change the perspective and see this benefit through the eyes of broken objects. So, we invite you, the Zooppa Community to give life to these broken objects, showing their wish to be fixed through visual story-telling videos.

Your mission

Every broken object has a story.

Loctite wants to produce a humorous web-series about these stories, called “Have a minute for me”. Each episode of this series will show, with romantic irony, the story of a different broken object.

Your challenge is to use your creativity and your skills to create a 60 second video that will be one episode of this web-series: just shoot the video and give life to the object with the animation of your choosing. (See references for creative direction and examples). Please feel free to shoot your video in live action format.

Your video should be made of three different parts, in the order of your choosing:-

  1. THE GOOD TIMES: the times when the object and its owner were happy together.
  2. THE SAD TIMES: the object breaks, then it’s forgotten and abandoned, begging its owner to have a minute to fix it.
  3. THE FIXING UP: the owner fixes the object easily with Loctite 60 sec. Universal Glue. Happy ending.

We are looking for funny but tender videos with a hint of romantic irony, that appeal to people of all ages, young and old, male and female. We want the audience to smile and to empathize with the objects’ story. There must be no speaking in your videos as we want these to appeal to a global audience. Please use the music provided in the materials download section of the brief.

To take part in this project and receive the new Loctite 60 sec. Universal Glue to use in your shoot, please send and email to support@zooppa.com with the subject line ‘I Pledge to Participate in the ‘Loctite’ project with your Zooppa username, full name, and shipping address!

This product is not in stores yet, so you must pledge in order to receive a tube. Global participation is welcome.
