Screening Room (Building 2)
At some point during the process of learning to become a filmmaker you’re going to need to watch some movies. You might start with the classics, or you could check out a couple of cult favorites. Maybe it’ll be a new release you couldn’t get to in the theatres, but regardless of the type of movie, this is the place to do it.
In this fully equipped screening room students will learn about film by watching movies. You’ll examine what the established directors and cinematographers who’ve come before you have done, then debate the choices they’ve made. You’ll examine script elements and point out continuity errors, and you’ll do it all with the great sound and picture quality that this screening room has to offer. Sounds like a pretty good day at school, doesn’t it?
