Solid State Logic is coming to The Los Angeles Recording School with their fully-equipped demonstration studio. The SSL AWS Truck is a custom–built mobile studio. It contains two distinct systems; the first is based around our AWS 948 hybrid studio production console and a collection of SSL I/O and SuperAnalogueTM outboard processors. The second system is based around Nucleus2 with a particular emphasis on its use in Dante based multi-seat teaching labs. The truck’s internal acoustics were designed by Russ Berger so it provides a professional, comfortable listening environment for getting to know SSL’s range of hybrid studio technology. The truck is also equipped to demonstrate SSL’s Nucleus2 DAW Controller & studio I/O and monitoring hub with its unique combination of features. Nucleus is widely regarded as the most comprehensive professional option available for inside–the box audio production. The truck’s Dante network equipped with SSL stage boxes allows us to demonstrate the benefits of a multi-station Nucleus2 education lab with multiple student stations all sharing audio sources from single or multiple recording spaces… AND a lecturer DAW, all via Dante.
