Accreditation, Licensing and Approvals
The Los Angeles Film School is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). ACCSC is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency.
The Los Angeles Film School's approval to operate as a private postesecondary school in the state of California is based on provisions of the California Private Postsecondary Education Act (CPPEA) of 2009, which was effective January 1, 2010. The Act is administered by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education, under the Department of Consumer Affairs.
The Los Angeles Film School is approved to train veterans by the California State Approving Agency for Veterans Education (CSAAVE). CSAAVE operates under contract with the US Department of Veterans Affairs. Under the authority of federal law, Title 38 U.S.C CSAAVE operates as part of the government of the State of California.
The Los Angeles Film School is approved for Army, Air Force, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy and US government tuition assistance through the DODMOU.
The Los Agneles Film School is a member of the Servicemembers Opportunity College Consortium.
