LAFS Students Recognized in MOFILM Contest

Producer of Avatar and Titanic Jon Landau at LAFS during MOFILM LA Awards
LAFS Students Recognized in MOFILM Contest
Two LA Film School Students were honored at the MOFILM/Walmart Ad Competition Awards held in school’s main theater. Producer Jon Landau was on hand to announce the winners, which included LAFS students David Chang and Hanelei Parker.
Chang and Parker were both recognized for their submissions in MOFILM’s Walmart “make an ad” competition during the special awards ceremony. Landau, who produced Avatar and Titanic, was on hand to recognize each of the winners.
“It was a splendid evening and especially good to see two of our students take home awards,” said LAFS Producing Course Director Gabrielle Kelly. “To work with MOFILM and have a guest like Jon Landau on our campus is a true honor.”

The contest, which received over 191 entries, was created to give Walmart ideas for future ad campaigns, providing potential opportunities for all of the winners.
