Grad Among Recent Guests
The Los Angeles Film School continues to host a number of screenings and events followed by Q&A sessions with some of the biggest names in film. Some recent screenings and guests have included:
MUSIC VIDEO WORKSHOP
LAFS grad Hannah Lux Davis returned to campus to host a Music Video Workshop. Lux Davis has directed over a dozen professionally made music videos since graduating.
GANGSTER’S PARADISE: JERUSALEMA
The LAFS main theater hosted a screening of Gangster’s Paradise:Jerusalema in the main theater. The screening was followed by a Q&A with Writer/Director Ralph Ziman.

FINDING BLISS
The LAFS main theater hosted a screening of Finding Bliss which was followed by a Q&A with Writer/Director Julie Davis and actor Jamie Kennedy.
CYRUS
The LAFS main theater screened the Sundance hit comedy Cyrus followed by a Q&A with co-writers, co-directors Jay Duplass & Mark Duplass.
BEST WORST MOVIE
LAFS hosted a screening of Best Worst Movie which was followed by a Q&A session with Writer/Director Michael Paul Stephenson and Actor George Hardy.

INTO THE PIXEL
LAFS hosted the Academy of Interactive Arts and Science’s Into the Pixel Exhibition. The exhibition, which featured the best art of Video Games, was followed by a reception with industry professionals.
INTERCOLLEGIATE FILM FESTIVAL
LAFS hosted the 2010 Intercollegiate Student Film Festival. Advanced Directing Course Director Salvador Carrasco organized the festival which included submissions from L.A. Valley College, Pasadena City College, Santa Monica City College and L.A. City College.
