The Los Angeles Film School continues to host and attend a number of industry events. Some recent ones have included:

BAFTA/LA STUDENT FILM FESTIVAL
BAFTA/LA hosted its annual student film festival screening in the LAFS main theater. During the festival, LAFS Grad Chanelle CC Rudders' film UBUNTU was screened and earned honorable mention.

SOUTH AND EAST ASIAN FILMMAKERS VISIT
South and East Asian Filmmakers stopped by LAFS for a visit of its facilities. While visiting, the filmmakers even sat in on a class.

E3 EXPO
LAFS students from the Game Production program received passes to attend the annual E3 Expo at the LA Convention Center. The three day event featured a sneak peak at the latest games and technology in the industry.

CINEGEAR EXPO

LAFS students and faculty attended Paramount Studio's Cinegear Expo. Free passes, including transportation to and from the expo, were given to attendees.
