Graduate Film Selected to LA Latino International Film Fest

The Los Angeles Film School (LAFS) is proud to announce that graduate Ronald Rosas’ thesis film, Fallen Angel, has been selected to the 14th Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival.

Rosas’ film was among hundreds of submissions for the festival, which is spearheaded by actor/director Edward James Olmos and will be held at the Chinese & Mann Cinemas in Hollywood from August 19-25.

“Being selected to the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival means the world to me. It feels amazing when you set a goal and it comes to fruition,” said Rosas. “None of this would have been possible without The L.A. Film School. The amazing faculty devoted countless hours giving me the tools to make what I believe to be a solid short film. I especially want to thank my mentor LAFS Advanced Directing Course Director Salvador Carrasco, who continues to help me with my career going forward.”
