Game Fair Among Recent Events
The Los Angeles Film School has had a busy summer, hosting a number of events and screenings. Below are a few recent highlights.
GAME FAIR
The LAFS Game Production department hosted its third Game Fair. The fair, which featured board and card games designed by students, was held in the Brain Lobby.
MARYVALE ORPHANAGE
The LAFS main theater hosted a special screening of The Princess and the Frog for the Maryvale Orphanage. Kids were given donated gifts and had the chance to meet the voice of Prince Naveen, Bruno Campos, and Hannah Montana’s Romi Dames after the screening.
ANIMAL KINGDOM
The LAFS main theater held a special screening of the Australian crime drama and winner of the 2010 Sundance World Cinema Jury Prize, Animal Kingdom. The screening was followed by a Q&A with with co-stars James Frecheville and Sullivan Stapleton along with writer-director David Michôd.

CENTURION
The LAFS main theater hosted a screening of Centurion which was followed by a Q&A with co-star Noel Clarke and writer-director Neil Marshall

FILM FINANCE SEMINAR
Industry experts, including entertainment attorneys, investors, casting directors, producers, talent agents and finance executives, visited LAFS for a Film Finance Seminar. During the seminar, attendees learned how to pitch projects to investors during a number of panel discussions and presentations.
