El Capitan Theatre
If you are looking to attend the premiere of any Disney movie, then this is where you’ll end up. El Capitan Theatre is currently owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company. It is a fully restored movie palace, which was originally opened in 1926. The theatre features a Spanish colonial exterior and has hosted many live productions as well as the world premiere of the classic Citizen Kane in 1941. One unique feature of El Capitan is its “Mighty Wurlitzer” pipe organ with over 2500 pipes.
