Cinerama Dome
Not just a movie theater, it’s a movie theater in a dome! Originally opened in 1963, the dome is currently part of the ArcLight Cinema complex on Sunset Blvd. Located directly across the street from The Los Angeles Film School, the theater is a frequent site for some of Hollywood’s biggest movie premieres. It’s unique exterior is made from 316 hexagonal concrete panels that form its dome shape. Whether you are checking out a premiere from the film school’s parking lot or attending a movie inside, the Cinerama Dome is a Hollywood landmark.
