12 LAFS Grads Work On 14 BET Award Noms

LAFS Alumni collectively worked on 5 productions totalling 14 BET Award nominations

LAFS alumni represented at the 2018 BET awards held at Los Angeles’s Microsoft Theatre on June 24. Twelve alumni worked across five productions and scooped up 14 nominations, leaving with three wins for the night.

This is the 18th annual awards show for BET, and it included some memorable highlights. Jamie Foxx hosted the event in a bizarre and at times awkward performance, which was met with mixed reviews. Of course there were memorable red carpet outfits. And Meek Mill urged America to “Stay Woke”.
