Last year’s Spotlight Awards Ceremony was a festival of new beginnings, and this year, we are in the midst of historic change. We believe change is a good thing. As we honor the 2020 Spotlight Academy Class, we will do so in a virtual environment for our entire school community to join in the celebration. Our teams have been working hard behind the scenes to bring all of you an event series that will excite and inspire our community of creators, filmmakers, movers and shakers to continue building their future in entertainment. Without spoiling too many of the planned festivities, we are giving you a sneak peek at our 2020 Spotlight Academy Class!
And the 2020 Spotlight Awards Go To…
The Spotlight Academy recognizes the sustained and significant accomplishments of our alumni who have made exceptional contributions to the entertainment arts, including film, television, music, audio, gaming and media industries.
We are proud to announce Henrique Andrade, Martin Pensa, Osmany Rodriguez, Jessica Sterling and Damian Sziebert as our Spotlight Academy Class of 2020. Some of you may recognize their faces from previous blog features and campus events. However, we will be introducing you to each of our inductees in the coming weeks!
Get Excited About Our Virtual Events
The Spotlight Awards is the final event of FAME Week, which is our virtual homecoming festival that has a little something for everyone. The virtual events will begin Monday, August 31, and run through Thursday, September 3. The final event of this year’s celebration will be the Spotlight Awards where our five inductees will become official members of The Los Angeles Film School Spotlight Academy.
