Music Intern:
Overview
Unpaid Internship **COLLEGE CREDIT REQUIRED. IF YOU’RE NOT IN COLLEGE, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY**
We are currently looking for interns to be assigned to the music content for All Def Digital’s music vertical, All Def Music.
We are looking for creative and hardworking people to help continue the tremendous growth our company and has experienced over the last year. Interns will be able to pitch ideas to producers, assist on set, work creatively with our staff, and many other amazing opportunities. Internships typically lasts 2-3 months.
Responsibilities:
– Date/Log footage directly from shoots
– Assist in research and development for new show formats and concepts
– Will research heavily in the latest music artists/news that will become main stories for docu-series.
– Assist Producers in coordination of potential production elements and packaging of features preparing to go into production.
– Designate and research potential industry relationships
– Assist with various aspects of projects by consolidating information through spreadsheets and documents.
– Assist in the creation of marketing materials for select projects
– Gear pick-ups and returns
– General office duties – filing, copying, mail, etc.
– Other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements/Qualifications:
– Must have knowledge of the hip hop digital landscape
– Must be willing to commit to 2-3 days a week
– Must have strong computer skills i.e. Microsoft Office, Google Docs
– Must have excellent communication skills
– Must have mode of transportation with clean driving record/valid driver’s license
– Mac preferred, but PC OK
– Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, knowledge is a PLUS/but not required
– Ability to shoot with DSLR cameras (Canon 5Ds etc..)/but not required
– Knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere a PLUS, but not required.
Comedy Intern:
Overview:
All Def Digital, an urban based digital media company, is looking to hire a Production Intern in our Comedy department. This role is perfect for anyone wanting to learn how to produce digital content, but also has a great sense of humor while understanding urban comedy. The ideal candidate is also up-to-date on trending news – from entertainment to politics.
What You Will Learn:
How to produce digital content – from ideation to production to post/editing
How to run a digital content shoot
Responsibilities:
Assist producers on set/film day tasks (ie. set up sets, break down sets, assisting crew or cast, cleaning)
Learn to support Comedy team with trending news updates
Support in the preparation of Comedy team meetings
General office tasks (ie. filing, database, paperwork, take meeting notes, running errands, etc.)
Intern Requirements/Qualifications:
Strong passion for urban comedy and hip-hop culture
Want to work in production or produce content (no non-entertainment majors)
Must have social media profiles on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter
Ability to carry/pick up 40 lbs.
Have an understanding of video platforms like Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
Proficient grammar and writing
Working knowledge of MS Word, Xcel, Powerpoint (or their equivalent)
Social Media Intern:
Overview
All Def Digital, an urban based digital media company, is looking to hire a Social Media Intern. This role is perfect for anyone who can’t go 5 minutes without checking Twitter and IG. The ideal candidate is always caught up on trending topics and constantly looking for creative ways to integrate that with our fans via social media.
What You Will Learn
How our business develops, organizes, and programs frequent, timely daily content programmed on ADD’s social platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube)
Responsibilities:
Learn to prep and schedule a steady stream of content across multiple ADD verticals
Learn to capture content with in-house and premium talent when in office
Assist Social Media Coordinator when needed
Support organizing video content
Engage in social community management
Requirements/Qualifications:
Strong passion for urban comedy and hip-hop culture
Have an understanding of video platforms like Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, Vimeo, Snapchat, Vine, Reddit, etc.,
Proficient grammar and writing
Optional, yet preferred, savvy video graphics/editing experience and understanding.
