The Hollywood Reporter Features The L.A. Film School

The Hollywood Reporter Names The Los Angeles Film School in its Top Local Film Schools

To pursue a career in entertainment most likely involves moving to Los Angeles, the Entertainment Capital of the World. Here at The Los Angeles Film School, Hollywood is our home. And being in the hub has its perks, too. Like when The Hollywood Reporter (THR), a leading industry publication based in Los Angeles, runs a feature on local film schools, people pay attention. And our ears perk up at the mention of our own film school.

With that, we are honored The Hollywood Reporter listed LAFS as a premier film school with Hollywood ties.

This isn’t the first time THR has mentioned LAFS in a feature. Last August, we were one of the Film Schools on the Rise in a list of Top 25 American film schools. The rankings are determined through a variety of criteria, including degree program offerings, advanced facilities and industry reputation.

Another important factor is our school’s location. We can’t stress this enough to current and future students. Our campus is in the heart of Hollywood so take advantage. We’ve built our institution around a local economy that thrives off entertainment and arts. And many of our alumni are shaping the entertainment industry right here.
