Students come join us for the CINE/A&E Pitchfest Panel
WHAT IS CINE PITCHFEST?
In 2015, we partnered with sponsor A&E to launch CINE PitchFest, a program that gives 25 emerging producers the opportunity to pitch their dream projects to a panel of network reps, agents, filmmakers and A&E executives. At sessions in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Austin and Washington, DC, emerging producers get five minutes each to make their best pitch. Each panel critiques the presentations — Shark Tank -style — and selects a winning producer for each session, who receives a formal pitch meeting with A&E executives. Each panel is held in front of a live audience of local filmmakers and students — all getting a crash course in how to pitch a project. A post-panel Q&A allows students to engage with panelists and participants.
