Karla Gordy Bristol​, CEO of Bristol Entertainment and a professional talent and event producer.  Karla’s been a TV talk show host on “Beverly Hills View” for three years, which airs on Beverly Hills Television and she is Host of her Facebook Live talk show “Karla Dawn LIVE”. Some of her past projects include, The Trumpet Awards, 100 Black Men of​​ America, Berry Gordy Square, Ray Parker, Jr.’s Hollywood Star Reception, Miss Sacramento County USA Pageant, and several award shows. Karla’s interviewed hundreds of celebrities and highly acclaimed individuals, produced concerts, produced and appeared on television shows, film, music videos and executive produced short films for television. Karla’s the co-founder of Friends of Fuller B. Gordy, where she’s co-producing their 13th annual Friends of Fuller Strikefest, which supports non-profit organizations. Her music publishing catalog includes many top classic songs that play daily around the world, including double Grammy nominated, “Hang On In There Baby”. In her early years, Karla was a Dick Clark Productions American Bandstand dancer, a choreographer, a professional dancer in many shows and music videos, including two of Smokey Robinson’s, Lionel Richie’s “All Night Long”, and Jefferson Starship. She was also a Motown Records employee for two years. A talented actress, as well, Miss Gordy Bristol has had roles in television, film and DVD released projects. Very committed to charities, Karla sits on the boards of Ava’s Heart Foundation and Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, where she’s on the planning committee for their October Virtual Guts & Glory Gala. Karla is a Motown Museum Founding Alumni and West Coast Advisory Committee member. She enjoys helping and engaging with young performers, speaking engagements, which include Morehouse College and The Wharton School, and making a positive difference in the lives of others. Karla’s received several recognitions by state congressional leaders, city councils, and organizations, including, the “Woman of The Year” award, for her professional and charitable work. In August, the Beverly Hills City Council appointed Karla to their Arts & Culture Commission, with her commissioner term beginning in 2021. Her entertainment talent is natural, and it came honestly. Karla’s the proud daughter of Iris Gordy, a former Motown Records vice president, and the late Johnny Bristol, Grammy nominated songwriter, producer, and singer; and the great-niece of Motown founder Berry Gordy.
