Did you know that the iconic Lil Jon song, “Some Cut” used a squeaky chair to create the most memorable part of the beat? How about that Timbaland’s famous baby sound effect in “Are You That Somebody” almost didn’t happen? Also, LARS Alumni Ari Levine used egg crates and packing bubbles to create some of Bruno Mars’ biggest hits.
In this interactive conversation, we chat with music producers and executives on how to utilize budget friendly, everyday household items, to use in your songs.
