LAFS Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with inspiring creators such as Moisés Zamora the creator, executive producer and co-showrunner of global-hit SelenaThe Series on Netflix. He will be joined by LAFS Spotlight Academy memberAlex Ferrufino.

In this conversation moderated by LAFS faculty, Marlee Rodrigues you will learn about Moisés’ background, going from writer to creator and having the series on Netflix. 

Moises will also introduce Videomart, an innovative platform that aims to disrupt Hollywood by betting on diversity and emerging voices through a blockchain-powered business model that benefits the independent filmmaker.  Videomart’s mission of offering an alternative to current distribution platforms. As well as distribution for LA Film School’s alumni and their work, using LAFS Spotlight Academy member, Alex Ferrufino as a case study with his film Slipping Into Darkness.
