We Had 7 of the Oscar-Nominated Screenwriters on Campus for a Special Panel Discussion

Writing is a skill, like any other, that takes practice and dedication. Stephen King wrote an entire book giving advice On Writing. “If you want to be a writer, you must do two things above all others: read a lot and write a lot. There’s no way around these two things that I’m aware of, no shortcut.”

We wanted to find out what some of the best screenwriters had to say about writing. Rian Johnson, Krysty Wilson-Carins and Taika Waititi graciously sat down with us before the panel to give a slice of screenwriting wisdom to our students. Here’s what they had to say.
