The Los Angeles Film School and Brash Republic Presents: Musicology

August 19, 2014—Hollywood, CA– The Los Angeles Film School and Brash Republic are pleased to present the first installation of “Musicology,” a monthly series featuring top industry professionals in music, television and film. The seminar will serve as an informative platform to assist inspiring producers, songwriters, engineers and executives with being successful in the entertainment industry. The event will take place Tuesday, August 19th at 7:30pm, at the Los Angeles Film School (6363 Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood.)

Musicology will begin with a panel featuring Grammy Award Winning producer Andreao “Fanatic” Heard (Credits include Michael Jackson, Beyoncé and The Notorious BIG), Shawndel “Jazzy” Rosa (Latoya Williams, Chynna Chameleon, K-Boy and Tha Eastsidaz), Artist Manager Steve “Boss” Haas (Boss Haas Entertainment), Revolt TV – Marketing & Community Relations Executive Besidone Amoruwa, singer- songwriter Brittany Barber” (Problem and Ravaughn), and branding maven Rachel Noelle. There will also be a special performance by hip-hop artist Stevie Dub  .
The event will conclude with an interactive Q&A music session, allowing music participants to play their music in front of talent managers, producers and tastemakers—with guest panelists providing detailed, constructive commentary. Event sponsors included Monster Energy Drink, Diablo and Ableton.
