Event Recap: LAFS at Pedal On The Pier Fundraising Event
On Sunday June 1st, The Los Angeles Film School’s Military and Outreach Department helped sponsor the Pedal on The Pier fundraiser in Santa Monica!
This annual stationary-bike charity event raises money for the Harold Robinson Foundation, which helps send inner-city kids to camp.
Special guests included MC Hammer, Doug E. Fresh, The Laker Girls, Darryl D.M.C. McDaniels, Chelsea Lately and Ben Gleib from the Chelsea Lately show. This year’s event raised over $550,000 for the foundation, and are so proud to have participated!
Special thanks to the Military/Outreach team, Diana Cuevas, Melina Cuevas, Melvin Henriquez, Joffery Black, Santiago Garza, and to Vet students, Frank Guzman (USMC), Jose Sousateles (USMC) and Phangum Lithiluxa (NAVY) for representing LAFS at this awesome event.
