Top Music Schools

The Los Angeles Recording School, a division of The L.A. Film School named in Billboard’s Top Music School list for the 3rd year in a row

The L.A. Recording School is featured amongst 20 other music business schools in the March 2019 issue of Billboard Magazine. We are honored to be named as one of the elite entertainment schools for our Music and Audio Production programs. The Los Angeles Recording School has had a number of alumni successes the past two years with GRAMMY® and Emmy wins. Andres Borda (2011 alumnus) won a GRAMMY for his engineering work on Carlos Vives’ album, Vives. Jordan Wilby (2005 alumnus) won his second Primetime Emmy award for his sound editing work on Stranger Things Seasons 1 and 2. Henrique Andrade (2011 alumnus) won a Latin GRAMMY for his work on Colombian recording artist Juanes’s album, Mis Planes Son Amarte.
