What’s next for storytelling? How The L.A. Film School is preparing students to shape the future of entertainment

In the heart of Hollywood, where cinematic history is made and remade every day, The Los Angeles Film School stands at a fascinating crossroads.

Since being founded by industry professionals in 1999, the school has grown alongside an industry that never stands still.

Our focus is on giving students the space, support, freedom and know-how to explore that intersection between new tech and the timeless craft of creativity.

Today, it’s a place where students learn to navigate the changing tides of entertainment with both practical skills and creative confidence.

From virtual production workflows to spatial audio design, the way the industry works is moving fast. But while tools and platforms change, the foundation of great storytelling hasn’t changed.

You finished your film. Here’s how to get it into festivals in 2025

You’ve done it.

You’ve spent countless hours writing and re-writing your script, scouting locations and casting in pre-production, getting each shot just right on set, polishing your cut in the edit suite, and…

…you’ve finished your film. It’s actually a wrap (for real this time!).

So what now?

Now’s the time to submit your movie to film festivals so the world can see the work you, your cast and your crew have put your blood, sweat and tears into.
