The Best Places to Visit in Los Angeles

Location, location, location! The Los Angeles Film School is located on Sunset Blvd. and is surrounded by all things entertainment. Things To Do Around The L.A. Film School Campus

  1. Take a selfie in front of our historic campus building with the yellow roof on the corner of Ivar and Sunset! Fun Fact: Our building used to be home to the legendary RCA Hollywood.
  2. Attend a screening in our Main Theatre and meet famous actors, screenwriters and directors.
  3. Take a stroll on Hollywood Blvd and look down at the stars on the Walk of Fame. 
  4. Did we say Walk of Fame? Check the schedule to see which entertainers are getting their star next!
  5. Tour the historic Ivar Theatre, which is part of our campus and where legends like The Grateful Dead held concerts in the ‘60s.
  6. Visit the world-famous Amoeba Music record shop at its new location on Hollywood Blvd, just a short walk from campus.
  7. See a musical at the historic Pantages Theatre.
  8. Tour the surrounding studios including Paramount and Netflix
  9. Dine at Musso and Frank which is featured in Quentin Tarantino’s film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
  10. Stand under the Capitol Records building and look up at its unique tower of records shape.
  11. Visit one of the many museums in Hollywood including the Wax Museum, the Hollywood Museum and Ripleys Believe It or Not.
  12. Get spooked at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery and attend an outdoor movie screening on the cemetery grounds.
