Beachside Films is an independent film production company and the west coast affiliate of Big Beach Films (LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE, OUR IDIOT BROTHER, SAFETY NOT GUARANTEED). Recently Beachside premiered its first narrative feature called PEOPLE, PLACES, THINGS and it’s second documentary entitled TIG at Sundance. The company deals in features, documentary and online content, and is seeking summer interns interested in learning about the film business from the ground up. This is an unpaid position, although you will receive a $10 a day lunch stipend. The internship may also be done for school credit. A minimum of 16 hours per week is preferred. Interns will have a mix of creative and administrative tasks, including but not limited to answering phones, reading scripts, general office chores, participating in meetings, and script coverage. To apply, please send your resume to beachsidefilmsintern@gmail.com for consideration.
