Cameramen and Women Wanted! The Malibu Guitar Festival

The Malibu Guitar Festival is a four day Music Festival with legendary guitar players and musicians from around the world. The festival takes place April 28,29,30 & May 1. This is an all-volunteer project with all the proceeds benefiting 3 very special kids charities: Mending Kids International, Therasurf & The Boys and Girls Club of Malibu.

We are looking for music minded volunteer cameramen and women, with their own equipment or access to school equipment, to shoot the various music performances at our festival. This is an amazing opportunity for students or alumni to be able to add extraordinary footage to their reels and resume for the future.

The participants will have the opportunity to work with established professionals from the Music, Film & Television worlds.

Here is a partial list of performers: Kenny Wayne Shepherd, county rock legend Albert Lee, former Wings guitarist Laurence Juber, “The Empty Hearts” (a supergroup with members of The Cars, Blondie and The Romantics), teenage guitar genius Cody Simpson, slide guitar maestro Robert Randolph, Zeparella (all girl Led Zeppelin tribute band), American Idol’s Randy Jackson and many more guitar greats.
