Eight alums worked on films that were screened at Sundance 2017

Our illustrious grads are working hard in the film industry, creating award-winning content around the world. This year, eight of our alums worked on films that will be screened at Sundance Film Festival 2017.

We would like to congratulate Steve Ellison, Alana Morshead, Katie Byron Noah Mucci, Brad Salo and Joshua Bramer for their work on Kuso, Newness, Icarus and Beatriz at Dinner.

Three of our alums worked on two films which were purchased for major distribution


Netflix purchased the documentary feature, Icarus, directed by Bryan Fogel.
LAFS Alum, Noah Mucci (IFMP Sept 2007) was an editor on the project.

Beatriz at Dinner

Roadside Attractions and FilmNation purchased the feature film, Beatriz at Dinner, directed by Miguel Arteta. The film stars Selma Hayek and John Lithgow.
LAFS alums, Joshua Bramer (ASF Oct 2010), and Brad Salo (ASF Oct 2010), were Property Master and Assistant Property Master respectively.
