You’re Invited to Sunscreen Film Festival 2014

The second annual Sunscreen Film Festival West is coming up this weekend, October 10-12, and it will be taking place in the South Bay at Hermosa Civic Theater and Hermosa Beach Community Center. The festival invites the public to attend screenings of more than 100 film entries covering a wide range of subjects and featuring onscreen, directing and producing talent such as Sean Penn, Ed Asner, Christopher Lloyd, Cathy Moriarty, and “Soul Surfer” director, Sean McNamara.
Attendees are also offered the opportunity to attend a selection of workshops and panels on the many aspects of filmmaking. Last year’s workshops and panels were so popular that the roster was expanded for this year’s event. Workshop topics include, but are not limited to, screenwriting for film and television, music sourcing and licensing, talent representation, and how to get your film made. The festival will also present a panel of film and television directors, and a writing pitch session where participants can pitch a panel of industry professionals. For more information, including ticket and schedule details, you can visit www.sunscreenfilmfestival.com.
