A Trio of Honors: The L.A. Film School’s Award-Winning Week
It’s been an incredible week for The Los Angeles Film School! Between back-to-back recognitions from some of the biggest names in entertainment and education from Billboard Magazine, TheWrap, and Newsweek, we’re so proud of our creative community. These honors highlight what makes our students, faculty, and alumni so special: passion, talent, and a shared commitment to the art of storytelling.

Billboard Names The L.A. Recording School a Top Music Business School
Let’s start with some good news for our L.A. Recording School students and staff! Billboard Magazine has once again named The Los Angeles Recording School, a division of The L.A. Film School, to its 2025 Top Music Business School List!
This marks eight years in a row that we’ve earned a spot on Billboard’s list, which recognizes schools shaping the future of the music industry. Every year, Billboard looks at programs that combine creativity and business know-how to help students understand not just how to make music, but how to build a career around it.
TheWrap Lists The L.A. Film School on their Top 50 Film Schools
Not to be outdone, our filmmakers had their own moment to shine! TheWrap named The Los Angeles Film School one of the Top 50 Film Schools in the U.S for 2025, our sixth year in a row on this list.
TheWrap annually highlights programs that go above and beyond in preparing students for the realities of the entertainment world. What sets The L.A.
