Filmmaker Magazine Recognizes The Los Angeles Film School in 2025 Film School Guide

Marking the college’s third consecutive appearance in the magazine’s list of the nation’s leading film-centered education programs.
The Los Angeles Film School is proud to announce its feature in FILMMAKER Magazine’s 2025 Film School Guide, recording a third straight appearance in the magazine’s list of the nation’s top film education programs.
The magazine’s annual summer publication highlights a selection of the leading public and private film institutions across the country, showcasing valuable information from each college, such as tuition costs, degree offerings, and notable faculty and alumni.
Emphasizing a hands-on learning approach, The L.A. Film School’s film program—offering both Associate and Bachelor’s degrees on campus or online—focuses on developing students’ skills and preparing them for careers in the entertainment industry. Students also benefit from access to the school’s top-tier facilities and industry-standard hardware and software to refine their craft.
Since opening in 1999, The L.A. Film School has established an expansive program catalog designed to prepare the next generation of creative professionals for a future in the entertainment industry. Students can choose from more than 18 undergraduate degrees, including Animation, Audio Production, Digital Filmmaking, Entertainment Business, Film Production, Graphic Design, Media Communications, Writing for Film and TV, and Music Production. Additionally, its extensive alumni network features professionals working in film, TV, music, and animation. This award season, The L.A. Film School saw 94 alumni credited on nominated projects at the Grammys, Emmys, Oscars, and Golden Globes, with alumni credited on 19 major award-winning projects.
