The Los Angeles Film School Wins Two Telly Awards in 2025

Honored for excellence in Live Events and Non-Broadcast Production at the 45th Annual Telly Awards.

The Los Angeles Film School proudly announces its recognition as a Silver Winner in two categories at the 2025 Telly Awards.  The college’s production of the 2024 Spotlight Awards Ceremony received top honors in General-Live Events & Experiences and General-Non-Broadcast, showcasing its commitment to high-quality, professional-level content creation.

The Telly Awards honors and recognizes excellence in video and television across all screens—from traditional broadcast to digital and social media. Receiving over 13,000 entries annually, the Telly Awards celebrate the very best in branded content, immersive media, and more, reflecting the evolving landscape of visual storytelling.

The Spotlight Awards is an annual signature event that showcases and celebrates outstanding L.A. Film School alumni, recognizing a select group for their impactful contribution in the Entertainment Industry. As part of the ceremony, honorees are inducted into the college’s prestigious Spotlight Academy and participate in leadership panels, gear expos, and creative workshops throughout the week.

Since opening in 1999, The L.A. Film School has established an expansive program catalog designed to prepare the next generation of creative professionals for a future in the entertainment industry. Students can choose from more than 18 undergraduate degrees, including animation, audio production, digital filmmaking, entertainment business, film production, graphic design, media communications, writing for film and TV, and music production. Additionally, its extensive alumni network features professionals working in film, TV, music, and animation. This award season, The L.A. Film School saw 94 alumni credited on nominated projects at the Grammys, Emmys, Oscars, and Golden Globes, with alumni credited on 19 major award-winning projects.
