The Beyond Hollywood International Film Festival returns! All students and alumni get into screenings held at The Los Angeles Film School for free by presenting their student or alumni ID badge.
Book tickets on the website in advance or at the door.
Variety Magazine names The Los Angeles (L.A.) Film School as part of its 2025 Entertainment Education Impact Report. Produced annually, the report highlights the nation’s top programs in all areas of filmmaking. This marks the 11th consecutive year the school has been celebrated for its outstanding contributions to the film and entertainment education industry, and serves as an example of the school’s quality of programs and faculty.
Showcase your beats and compete to win prizes! Come to the LARS Beat Battle on Tuesday, 4/29 at 12:00pm PT in the LARS Lounge. Hang out, enjoy some snacks, and jam to some sick beats made by fellow students. If you’re a beat maker, sign up on the spot and bring 3 to 4 of your best pre-made beats. Original music and loops allowed, but NO performers or vocals on the beats. Be ready to cook up a live beat if you make it to the final round. The audience will decide on the Beat Battle winner!
