From Fox to FX, Lionsgate, and MGM,  The Los Angeles Film School alum Jessica Bail has lent her producing and post-production expertise to some of the top networks in entertainment, working on shows that have starred award-winning talent like Billy Bob Thornton, Diane Lane, Jason Bateman, and Aubrey Plaza.

As part of the associate degree film program at The L.A. Film School, Jessica learned the creative and technical skills needed to confidently pursue post-production roles. She continued to build on those skills by earning her bachelor’s in Cinematography from Full Sail University in 2011.

Beyond graduation, Jessica remained involved supporting The L.A. Film School as an alum in operational roles such as Audio and Video Technician, Equipment Room Clerk, and Cinematography and Directing Assistant. Playing a part in the daily smooth operations of the school, while simultaneously taking on her first freelance editing projects.

Her big break in post was for FX’s The Bastard Executioner (2015), where she worked her way from post-production assistant to post-production coordinator.

As a post-production coordinator, she would work on shows such as 24:Legacy (2016), Chance (2017), Guilt (2016), Star (2016), and the critically-acclaimed fan-favorite Arrested Development (2019) starring Jason Bateman and Will Arnett, which Tim Stack of Entertainment Weekly praised, saying “Is it beating a dead horse to once again state that this underappreciated gem is the best sitcom on TV? Too bad. Arrested Development is the best sitcom on TV!”

In recent years, Jessica has worked her way up to post-production supervisor at FX, overseeing post for their shows Mayans M.C. (2019), Y: The Last Man (2021), A Murder at the End of the World (2023), and the show that made AFI’s “Top Ten Television Programs to Watch,” Fargo (2020 – 2023)–a show that has received 221 award nominations and 51 wins (including by the Critics Choice,  The Emmys/Television Academy, The Golden Globes, The Screen Actors Guild, and the Writers Guild of America).

Jessica has most recently stepped into the role of associate producer at FX for their series Alien: Earth (2025-2026).
