Alumni Drive Success Across Wicked for Good, Rosalía’s LUX & World Series Sound

From Hollywood sets, music studios and even the World Series, graduates of The Los Angeles Film School and The Los Angeles Recording School continue to shape the entertainment industry in powerful and inspiring ways. These recent accomplishments highlight the creativity, professionalism, and technical excellence our alumni bring to every project.
Andrew Padilla (Audio Production 2021) – Sound Designer, Dodger Stadium
As the Sound Designer at Dodger Stadium, Andrew Padilla helps craft the immersive audio experience that millions of fans hear each season. For the second championship season in a row, Padilla has contributed to the stadium’s electrifying atmosphere, especially meaningful during the Dodgers’ recent World Series win. From crowd energy to in-game cues, Andrew plays a vital role in elevating the sound of Los Angeles baseball. Speaking last year after the Dodgers’ World Series win, Padilla said:
“LA Film School helped give me the tools needed to now become a part of a World Series Championship Team. We just finished out the season and now my focus shifts to other arenas in Southern California. I’ve been a Dodger fan my whole life and to be able to be here when the lights are shining the brightest is what I live for.”

“I Love L.A.”
Adam Silver (Film 2013), a seasoned industry professional with more than two decades of experience, brings his cinematography expertise to the upcoming TV series I Love L.A. where his visual style helps define the show’s atmosphere. Samantha Villegas (Film 2012) supports the series’ world-building through her role in the Props Department, adding authenticity and detail to every scene. In addition to her work on I Love L.A., she also contributed to the prop team for Big Bold Beautiful Journey, the 2025 feature starring Colin Farrell and Margot Robbie. Her craftsmanship continues to elevate each project she joins, helping create polished and immersive on-screen environments.
Train Dreams
Cédric Chabloz (Film 2009) is credited as First Assistant Director on the highly anticipated film Train Dreams, a lyrical adaptation of Denis Johnson’s novella directed by Clint Bentley. Chabloz’s role behind the scenes helped bring Bentley’s poetic vision to life, contributing to a deeply emotional and visually rich story that reflects both the beauty of nature and the cost of progress. Train Dreams premieres November 21 worldwide on Netflix.
Wicked for Good
Jessie Pariseau (Audio Production 2019) continues to rise in the audio world as the Foley Supervisor on Wicked for Good. Her work brings magical textures and environmental sound effects to life which is essential in the storytelling of such a dynamic, fantasy-driven production. Previously this year, Pariseau lent her talents to the Apple+ TV show, “Smoke”. Additionally, she worked as Foley Supervisor along fellow alumni Marlon Rivas (Animation 2015) and Adrienne Bugbee (Film 2010) on the smash hit Superman.
Rosalía’s LUX Album
Audio alum Brandon Harding (Recording Arts 2013) served as an Engineer on Rosalía’s newest album LUX, contributing to the global star’s distinctive sound. His technical precision and creative mixing help shape Rosalía’s forward-thinking, ever-evolving musical identity. This new credit rounds out an excellent year for Harding. Earlier in 2025, Harding was awarded with a Grammy award for his work on Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter.
Mariah Carey’s Here For It All
Continuing his work with major artists, Jhair Lazo (Recording Arts 2012) engineered Mariah Carey’s album Here For It All. Supporting an icon’s recording process takes skill and professionalism, and Jhair’s work reflects the high standards of today’s top-tier music production. 2025 has been an exceptional year for Lazo who, along with fellow alum, Julio Ulloa (Recording Arts 2015), won a Grammy for their work with NxWorries on Why Lawd for Best Progressive R&B Album.
“Bel-Air” Season 4
For Bel-Air Season 4, James Rydings (Film 2006) returns as First Assistant Camera on the A-Camera team. His precision and technical mastery ensure clean focus, smooth operation, and seamless visual execution in a high-profile streaming series. Also contributing to the new season is David Culwell Grant (Film 2006), who serves as a Camera Operator. His work helps bring the show’s cinematic style and emotional storytelling to the screen.
Kiss of the Spider Woman
Derek Cooper (Recording Arts 2012), contributed to the storytelling of Kiss of the Spider Woman as the film’s Assistant Editor, helping shape its pacing and emotional rhythm. Fellow Alumni and Spotlight member Mehrnaz Mohabati also worked on the production as the ADR Mixer, elevating the clarity and detail of the film’s vocal performances in this acclaimed musical. Additionally, Mohabati is credited as ADR Mixer on Anniversary, which premiered on October 29, further expanding her strong portfolio of post-production work.
