LAFS Alumni pack the house at the 2020 Mixer

The Los Angeles Film School Alumni Association hosted the first alumni mixer of 2020 on Tuesday, February 25. This event brought together alumni from past years for a night of food and conversation. The quarterly mixers are part of an ongoing series of events that help alumni find creative work after graduation by networking with fellow members of our academic community. Although the mixers are exclusively held for LAFS and LARS alumni, students are encouraged to meet with their Career Development advisors and attend employer events such as Jump Start, which was held right before the mixer.

For the night’s main event, five alumni panelists shared their experiences working in entertainment since graduating from school. Panelist included Ari Levine (2005 Recording Arts), Martin Pensa (2002 Film), Alex Munoz Ferrufino (2010 Film), Sandra Seeling Lipski (2011 Film), and Peter Munters (2014 Recording Arts/2015 Entertainment Business).

From producing Bruno Mars’ hit songs to starting one of Spain’s best-known film festivals, hear what these five alumni have been up to in the industry.
