The Grammy Winners from L.A. Film School

We are proud of our talented alumni from The Los Angeles Recording School, a division of The L.A. Film School for their GRAMMY® wins. Jaycen Joshua (LARS 2003) won Best Engineered Album for Beck's Hyperspace. Jaycen also contributed to GRAMMY-winner Megan Thee Stallion who won for Best New Rap Artist, Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song (Savage).

This year, we are proud to announce that five alumni worked on seven Grammy-nominated projects in 11 out of the 83 categories. Two of our alumni were personally nominated for Producer of the Year (Steven "Flying Lotus" Ellison) and Best Engineered Album (Jaycen Joshua). This is Jaycen Joshua's tenth Grammy nomination and Steven Ellison's third nomination.

We are honored to be ranked number 33 out of the 50 best film degree programs in the U.S. The college ranking focuses on undergrad degree programs related to film, television, media and video. Intelligent.com evaluated The L.A. Film School's film production degree program on the basis of flexibility, faculty, course strength, cost and reputation.
