Sandra Lipski Expands Evolution Mallorca International Film Festival in Its 14th Year

2011 Film Grad Sandra Lipski founded and directs the Evolution Mallorca International Film Festival (EMIFF), now in its 14th year. EMIFF was established in 2012 to bridge cultures and bring independent filmmakers from all over the world together in Palma de Mallorca, offering features, documentaries, shorts, music videos, TV/web series, and virtual reality projects. Under Lipski’s leadership, the festival has grown in programming scope, screening over 150 films in 2025, and offers strong industry components like panels, workshops, and networking events, with the mission of helping emerging talent gain visibility and build meaningful global connections through art.

Ariana Miller Brings VFX Expertise to Apple TV+ Series “Your Friends & Neighbors”

Ariana Miller (neé Georgescu), who earned her degree in Animation from The Los Angeles Film School in 2013, has built a prolific career as a digital and stereoscopic compositor with credits on blockbuster films like Mad Max: Fury Road, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Godzilla (2011). Recently, she’s brought that same technical artistry to television, working on the Apple TV+ series Your Friends & Neighbors as a compositor—blending layers of effects, lighting, and imagery to support its polished, dramatic visual style.
